Nibble, giggle, repeat.

So, this blog post is as much a letter to advertisers as much as a post.

Dear advertisers for Arby's,

First off, your current advertising campaign... I don't have any words for. As an employee of Arbys, it is bad when you fear going into work to wear ridiculous shirts and have slogans that look like someone typed up when they were high. I'll give some examples. Our new slogan is "Good Mood Food. Good food in, good mood out." Seriously? You have got to be joking. WHENEVER I go to any restaurant, I might enjoy the food, yes, but does it have a direct impact on my mood? Not really. Now, it's one thing to have this slogan. But to plaster it everywhere, and requiring your employees to have to wear shirts that A. look ridiculous with the slogan, and B. has HOORAY! (mind you the 2 O's are Pepsi symbols), on the back... Well.... I don't even want to even begin there.

Lastly, the slogan for "enjoying" cinnamon bites: Nibble, giggle, repeat... I... Don't even know how to even begin with this one. If taken out of context, this single phrase could be quite perverted, AND could be easily seen as a new Meme. Just saying...

Well, yes, there it is. My vent against my job. I don't hate my job, no, but, some of the things they do... I don't even want to begin to know how they came up with. Corporations don't need to make a laughing stock of themselves. They need to be inventive and creative. A great example of this is Chick-Fil-A (or even Old Spice). Quite inventive, and creative, and because of it, they are doing quite well.

Well, for all my friends reading this, I hope your jobs aren't this ridiculous with their advertising. If so, you should say what theirs is.

Finally, let me leave you with this to prove my point:

Spring Break. GET HERE.

This is the time of the year that I am absolutely frustrated with school. Everything I study makes my brain feels like pea soup. It can't keep anything clear right now. This problem isn't helpful, especially since I have all my midterms next week. I can't wait for spring break. I just need... A few days... Of freedom. Sleeping in late, NOT working on homework. I just need to last a week. Is it rather sad that the thing you look forward to is freedom? I could care less (even though it would be fun) to go anywhere during Spring Break, as long as I get a small reprieve from school. Now, school, I don't dislike, in fact, that's far from. I enjoy it as it gives me something to do. But it's still rather frustrating at times...

But, I guess all I really have to think about now is... Just another week...Just another week. It might kill me, but, I guess that's what college is for. Pushing you as far as you can take.

A small life update.

So I haven't updated in a few days. I am changing this fact. So the last few days have been kinda crazy with all that's been going on. One good thing is my car looks like the repair will be quick so I can get back to using that (although I really haven't been too sad having to drive a Nissan Altima the last few days). Other then that, I got to hang out with some friends (me and Michael have some new videos to edit as well... They, most likely, will cause you to laugh). Other than that, I've been swamped with homework. I swear, all my professors decided to put all my tests to next week for some odd reason. So having to balance that, and my Georgia Tech application next week, it's going to be a painful week. But yeah, thats been about it for me. Later today I'll probably have a more interesting post of like the top 5 songs again. But for the few who are actually interested about my life, that's been whats up. So until the next post, I bid you adeu.

Ok, my car was recently in an accident (a guy ran into the back of it), but BEFORE that happened, the second part of my year project was completed... Partially. I first wanted to get rid of this horrid looking purple/grey interior someone at Pontiac thought looked really good? (Give you a hint guys... Unless if grandparents are driving the car, that style is waaaay out). But anyways, thank's to the people over at Living Social (and a few friends), I got a $20 Amazon gift card for free. So why not invest in the Year Project? So, I got some seat covers. Right now we just put them on over the old fabric, but later on, I'm going to sew them to the contours of the seat. So until further adeau. Here is the pictures of the before and after.

:After:

Well, here are a few songs that I've been listening to this week. Maybe you will find a couple new bands/songs you like from this post?

1. Starting off with this post, we will go with the song Be Calm by FUN.

2. Here is a soundtrack song from the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack. I love the melody of this one. It's probably one of my favorites from the entire soundtrack (Season 2)

3. Brightwood is a band I found out along time ago in the good 'ol Myspace days. This was one I liked from them.

4. I have to admit... I like this song. It's a classic, and don't judge.

5. Ok, to counter-act that last song, I hope Depeche Mode will fix my reputation with songs choices.
